Visualizing Data: Exploring and Explaining Data with the Processing Environment

Review
This book's all about making sense of data. It breaks down the process into steps: get the data, organize it, filter out the junk, find patterns, show it visually, make it look good, and let people play with it. The book does two things really well: It's a killer intro to Processing, this cool programming language It shows you tons of ways to make your data look awesome on screen Processing is like Java's artsy cousin. It's got great tools for graphics and numbers, and it's super easy to use. You can make stuff that runs in browsers or on your computer, no matter what kind you've got. The book's packed with real examples you can try out, and it points you to places where you can grab data and maps to mess around with. If you're into data viz, definitely check this one out. It's pretty sweet.
